UNACCEPTABLE DUMPSTER ITEMS
The law requires all waste generators to keep the materials that are listed below separate from garbage to be recycled. The following items are NOT allowed in our dumpsters for household clean-outs and/or construction debris:

- Tin Cans
- Plastic Bottles
- Glass
- Newspaper
- Cardboard
- Leaves
- Grass Clippings
- Used Motor Oil
- Tires
- Soil
- Aerosol Cans
- Railroad Ties
- Concrete*
- Bricks*
- Stone*
- Brush**
- Logs**
- Stumps**
- Branches**
- Fluorescent Light Bulbs
- Contaminated Soil
- Paint Cans
- Chemicals or Solvents
- Propane Tanks
- Batteries – Dry Cell and Lead- Acid
- 6 x 6 and 4 x 4 Lumber longer than 4 foot
- Electronics – Televisions, Computers, Monitors, Laptops, etc.
- Appliances – Refrigerators, Air Conditioners, Dryers, Stoves, Dishwashers, Microwave Ovens etc.
*This material can only be placed in a concrete dumpster

Dumpster contents must be level in the container, not sticking out of the top. If you have any questions about items not found on this list, please call the office to ask BEFORE placing it in our containers. Please note, transfer station fines that are issued to Hoffman’s Supply are not absorbed, they are passed along to the customer.
